Certificates

Certificates are comprised of learning workshops that are intended to build skills to implement tools into regular core instruction.

We offer teachers the opportunity to earn certificates in Google, Canvas, MasteryConnect, Nearpod, Adobe Campus Leader, Common Sense Media, and Advanced Canvas Tips & Tricks.

**Certificates are eligible for USBE credit and a $200 stipend.  Each certificate will count as an elective for the Ed Tech Endorsement.


Google Certified Educator

If you're an educator who knows how to use Google tools in the classroom, this certification proves your proficiency.  Google Certifications begins January 14, 2020 and runs through April 28, 2020.

Canvas

This certificate is designed for Jordan educators to show competency in Canvas.  Teachers will learn to create visual interactive homepages, enable and use the Learning Mastery Gradebook feature, build question banks, and use advanced features in Canvas Assignments and Graded Discussions. The final project will be to create a Canvas that includes blended learning activities.

Come learn the basics of MasteryConnect and beyond. We will be going over how to set up your trackers, reading the results and so much more.

Nearpod

Distinguish yourself as a Nearpod Certified Educator.  Here you will learn all the basics of Nearpod and the final project will result in your being name a Nearpod Certified Educator.  This certificate is designed to enable teachers to use the Nearpod platform to deliver high-quality instruction. Hybrid course.

Adobe Campus Leader

Adobe logo

With this certification course, you will learn about many of the tools that can be found in the Adobe Creative Cloud and how you can use them in your classroom. Tools include Adobe Spark, Adobe Rush, Adobe XD, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. At the end of this course, you will be able to apply to be an Adobe Campus Leader through Adobe. To complete this course you will focus on 4 of these tools.

Advanced Canvas Tips & Tricks

This course will introduce how to create and implement both Outcomes and Mastery Path grading. It will also help you in decorating your Canvas Course to make it more inviting and interactive with students; Using HP5 in Canvas; Canvas Hacks in HTML; Not Fearing the HTML Code!, Creating Interactive Content using the Quiz features and a few more tricks.
