Marketing Your Gale Digital Collection
You've invested time, thought, and budget dollars to create an amazing collection of materials for your teachers, students, and patrons but perhaps you've found that the digital portion of your resources doesn't always get the attention it deserves. Research has shown that eBooks and databases are used more when librarians follow a clear plan to promote them. Join this webinar to learn creative and effective strategies for spreading the word about your Gale digital collection and make sure those great resources get used! In this session we will showcase marketing materials and outreach templates available for all your Gale products, discuss how to create a content calendar to promote your collection year round, and outline steps to develop a marketing plan focused on your unique users.
In addition, to support librarians and educators as they navigate a rapid shift to virtual learning and across many communities, the physical closure of libraries, Gale has launched a COVID-19 resource center. You can immediately start using and sharing, for free:
- Interdisciplinary, curriculum aligned resources to support online learning from pre-K through undergraduate
- Live and on-demand training materials to help you optimize your existing resources
- Professional development eBooks to help transition to and strengthen virtual learning
- Authoritative Gale resources on health-related topics and global issues
