Chromebooks for Educators

Also, Google has released a brand new course to help teachers learn more about Chromebooks and Class Tools. In this course, you will learn to use a Chromebook to facilitate a day of learning, create engaging content for students, and streamline classroom management with Class tools. At the end of this course, you will be prepared to use built-in Chromebook features to design and deliver powerful instructional experiences for your students.

Important Action Required: Zoom Account Verification

As parent-teacher conferences approach, please take a moment to verify your Zoom Pro account. The district recently made some changes to Zoom accounts, including the removal inactive accounts. To ensure a smooth conference process and retain access to your Zoom Pro features, please confirm your account status.

To check to see if you have a Pro Zoom account:

  • Go to zoom.us
  • Log in using the "Sign in with Google" button.
  • Locate your image in the upper right corner of the Zoom dashboard.
  • Click on it.
  • You have a Zoom Pro Account if you see the word "Licensed".

To Request a Zoom Pro Account complete the form below.

Make sure to check your JSD email for an email asking you to set up your account. The subject line will be "Zoom Account Information".  If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam folder. Your Zoom meeting ID will have the following "jordandistrict-org.zoom.us/" followed by some additional information.
